The CSR strategy employed in the P.P.U.H. „Inter-Castor” company defines not only the directions of social engagement and reasons for their selection by the company, but also the development plans of the company as such. It is worth emphasizing that this strategy is tightly aligned to the business strategy called: Quality Policy for the period 2014-2020, and it is also inspired by the ISO 26 000 and refers to the areas of corporate social responsibility indicated below, which are important from the point of view of the „Inter-Castor” company:
Organizational governance – understood here as the principles associated with the formation of the broadly understood management system for the company. All components of the governance, both formal (e.g. organization chart or work regulations) and informal (e.g. elements of the organizational culture or good practices) were checked for the CSR assumptions.
Human rights – respect for human rights is a fundamental value, and therefore the most important and basic business documents (e.g. the work regulations that is required by the Polish legislation) place special emphasis on the development of civil society, where such issues as respect for human dignity or addressing all kinds of discrimination is aways remembered.
Labour relations – usually every organization has to do with the work performed within the company, on its behalf or outside the company. Thus, they go beyond the relationships between the organization and its employees, touching the sphere of cooperation with subcontractors, suppliers, competitors, etc. Good practices of the PPUH „Inter-Castor” company that already exist or that the company will implement within this area, going beyond the obligations stipulated by the law, take into account working conditions and social security, occupational health and safety, trainings, need for ongoing social dialogue as well as open and honest relationships with the cooperating entities.
