The company „Inter-Castor” Ltd. exists almost 30 years in the market of steel structures. But the roots of the enterprise reach the year 1945, which gives us over 50 years of tradition. During the years we have gained great experience in the area of manufacturing of a wide range of steel structures, elements of technology lines for metal and glass heat treatment, in particular, structures for the car industry, support structures for belt and roller conveyors and many other projects ordered by our customers following requirements and documentation. Thanks to highly qualified personnel, large technical capabilities and flexibility of production we have got in touch and started to cooperate with many enterprises from Poland and other countries like Austria, Denmark, Germany or France. The certificates in the areas of welding and quality management owned by „Inter-Castor” are the confirmation of our qualifications.
History
The National Machines Centre (Panstwowy Osrodek Maszynowy) originated in 1945 under the name „National Enterprise of Tractors and Agricultural Machines” (Panstwowe Przedsiebiorstwo Traktorow i Maszyn Rolniczych) with the base in Krosno Odrzanskie. At that moment, the company’s activities were focused on repairs of tractors and agricultural machines. In 1946 the company’s personnel counted 250 people. In 1948 the company has been moved completely to Polupin and in 1950 it has been changed to The National Machines Centre. During the next years, the company continued activities in the area of reparation of agricultural machines enhancing its offer with truck reparation services and installation works. Between the years 1976 and 1977, the company’s profile has been changed. The company started the production of silo parts and truck trailer sideboards. In 1989 the company has been privatized and transformed into a Limited company named „Inter-Castor”. The newly originated enterprise has focused on the cooperation with companies from Poland and other countries (mostly from Germany). The company started to manufacture pallets, containers and support structures for belt conveyors. In 2001 the company has introduced its own product – recycling shredders – Castor 3.5-5.5 and Castor 6-11. In 2005 „Inter-Castor” began the cooperation with ZPCZ Czerwonak and the production of IC-ZPCZ-1105 has been started. In December 2007 we have entered another area of activity – Collection, Processing, and Gathering of Used Electric and Electronic Appliances.
